New Publix development proposed in Clayton, NC

Papers have been filed for a development in Clayton called “Publix At Flowers Plantation.” The project is expected to be completed by spring of 2021.

Publix had declined to confirm the plan. However, papers filed with environmental regulators show a 46,000-square-foot store. The development would sit on a 54.8-acre site located on a new road near the intersection of South Flowers Parkway and NC-42.
