Henry Ford Health System, Michigan Medicine at the University of Michigan, and St. Joseph Mercy Health System have plans to revitalize a vacant industrial building for their laundry facility.
According to the three companies, the new facility will have the capacity to handle 78 million pounds of linens annually.
Construction will begin this year and be completed in 2020. The finished facility will be 105,000 square feet and is expected to employ 100 people.
