“Speedway Solar” project coming to Shelby County, IN

Construction of a $175 million, 1,200-acre solar farm in central Indiana is expected to start in 2022. The building phase of the project will employ about 400 workers.
The project, which will be built by Ranger Power of New York, is expected to generate enough power to serve 35,000 households.
