New Amazon fulfillment center coming to Nashville, TN

Amazon has filed permits to open a new fulfillment center in Nashville. The facility would be used to support the company’s same-day delivery service.

The center would be about 100,000 square feet and located near the Nashville International Airport.

The project has not yet been approved, and as of yet Amazon hasn’t announced any timetable for the center’s opening.

Amazon currently has five distribution hubs in the region, which employ about 3,700 workers.
