Automaker considering NC for its newest manufacturing plant

Indian auto manufacturer Mahindra Automotive North America has shortlisted NC as the possible location for its newest manufacturing plant.

However, the company is also considering locations in South Carolina, Texas, Arizona, and Michigan.

According to a company spokesperson, Mahindra is looking for a labor pool that can support up to 4,500 jobs over the next 7-10 years.
