$500 million manufacturing facility, 300 jobs coming to Sanford, NC

Pfizer has announced a $500 million expansion to its current facilities in Sanford, NC. The company will be building a manufacturing facility to support the gene therapy line of its business.
Pfizer already employs 650 employees in Sanford. The new facility will add an additional 300 jobs to the city.
