The latest job numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics have analysts worried that economic growth may be slowing.

While the unemployment rate is at 3.7% – the lowest in 50 years – payroll growth did not meet expectations.

Economists predicted payroll growth of 198,000 in November, but the actual number was only 155,000.

Employment in transportation and warehousing rose by 25,000 jobs. Manufacturing jobs rose by 27,000. The number of construction jobs, however, remained unchanged versus October.

Average hourly earnings rose by 6 cents, to $27.35.
