McCormick overtakes Under Armour as Greater Baltimore area’s biggest employer

Due to a two-year slowdown in sales, Under Armour Inc. seems likely to fall to being the third-largest public company in the Greater Baltimore area, behind McCormick & Co. Inc. and T. Rowe Price Group Inc.

McCormick ended 2018 with a record $5.4 billion in sales, up 12 percent from the prior year. The boost in sales included the $4.2 billion acquisition of RB Foods.

Meanwhile, Under Armour saw its growth decline from 20-plus-percent growth to just 8 percent growth.
