Amazon hub coming to Lakeland, FL airport

Lakeland officials have granted a building permit for a $100 million Amazon hub at Lakeland Linder International Airport. The company will leave its current space at Tampa International Airport in favor of the new Lakeland facility.
The facility will be constructed by Hunt Construction Group, Inc., and is projected to cost $3.5 million.
Amazon also currently has million-square-foot fulfillment centers in Lakeland, FL and Ruskin, FL.
