Over 1,000 manufacturing and distribution jobs coming to the Nashville, TN area

SmileDirectClub is adding a total of 2,010 jobs in Nashville over the next five years.

Over 1,000 of those jobs will be in the company’s manufacturing plant in Antioch, TN. The rest will be in the company’s headquarters in downtown Nashville.

By the total number of jobs, the announcement ranks as the sixth-largest jobs deal in Tennessee history.

SmileDirect lets patients make an impression of their teeth with a kit or by visiting a storefront for a 3D scan. The company then uses the data to make aligners.

The company moved its headquarters to Nashville in 2016 and now employs more than 1,600 in the Nashville area alone.
