Permits issued for $285-million Asurion development in Nashville, TN

Highwoods Properties is moving ahead with developing a site in Nashville. Authorities issued multiple permits for the developer’s project in the North Gulch area, which will eventually house Asurion headquarters.
The collective value of the permits is $45.3 million.
The development will not only house the headquarters of Asurion (a Nashville-based company which provides insurance for smartphones, tablets, and other consumer electronics). It will also include 9,000 square feet of retail space.
The general contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie, has already started construction at the site, which is located at 120 11th Avenue North. Highwoods expects the project to be completed in 2021.
