Corning Incorporated is moving forward with plans to expand its manufacturing operation in Durham.
According to Corning, construction has begun on the project. The company is also waiting for a city council vote regarding a utilities extensions agreement with Durham County.
Corning announced in 2017 that the expansion of its manufacturing facility will bring more than 300 jobs to Durham.
