Wegman’s still on track to build new location in Cary, NC

The planned Wegman’s location at Davis Drive and Airport Boulevard in Cary has seen no building activity since March. But the company says the project will still move forward.
A Wegman’s spokesperson said construction will begin in July and that the store will open sometime in 2020.
The property was part of a 35-acre, $6.6 million purchase in 2018. The development will eventually include age-restricted apartments.
