A group of Democratic senators has sent a letter urging Google to change the status of its 121,000 temporary workers to full-time after six months of employment.
Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio penned the letter to Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
The senators requested additional changes at Google to benefit temporary workers, including equalizing wages and benefits with that of the company’s permanent staff.
