- Job Seekers: Name, contact information, resume details, employment history, skills, certifications, and other relevant job application information.
- Employers: Name, company details, contact information, job posting details, and any other information necessary to fill staffing needs.
- General Visitors: Information related to website usage, such as IP addresses, browser types, and other technical data.
Additional California Disclosure
Spec on the Job has collected the following categories of Personal Information within the last 12 months:
- Category 1: Identifiers such as name, address and contact information, email address, social security number, driver’s license number, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, or other similar identifiers.
- Category 2: Personal information, as defined in the California customer records law, such as name, signature, social security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information
- Category 3: Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law, such as age (40 years or older), race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, religion or creed, marital status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, sex (including gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy or childbirth and related medical conditions), sexual orientation, veteran or military status, genetic information (including familial genetic information).

- Category 5: Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as browsing history, search history, and information collected if you visit our websites or use our software applications
- Category 6: Geolocation data, such as physical location based on Internet Protocol Address
- Category 8: Professional or employment-related information, such as work history, prior employer, information relating to references, details of qualifications, skills and experience, human resources data, and data necessary for benefits and related administration services; and
- Category 9: Inferences drawn from other categories of personal information listed above to create a profile or summary about an individual’s preferences and characteristics.

For each of these categories, Personal Information may be collected from a variety of sources. These sources include: yourself, with respect to both online and offline interactions you may have with us or our service providers, including but not limited to: Hubspot; Google Analytics; and Microsoft Clarity; other entities with whom you transact; others with whom you maintain relationships who may deal with us on your behalf; the devices you use to access our websites, mobile applications, and online services; identify verification and fraud prevention vendors; marketing and analytics providers; lead generation vendors; professional licensing organizations; credit bureaus; public databases; social media platforms; governmental entities, other entities we are legally affiliated with, and others consistent with this Policy.
How We Use Your Information

- To connect job seekers with potential employers.
- To provide staffing solutions and respond to employer requests.
- To improve our services, website functionality, and user experience.
- To send communications, including job alerts, application updates, and service notifications.
We may also use Personal Information we collect for our own or our service providers’ other operational purposes, purposes for which we provide you additional notice, or for purposes compatible with the context in which the Personal Information was collected, such as:
- To process a request made by you or someone on your behalf
- To fulfill compliance functions and uphold our legal obligations
- To recruit, onboard and manage our workforce
- To provide you with information about products or services that may be of interest to you or other members of your household
- Detecting and protecting against security incidents, and malicious, deceptive, fraudulent or illegal activity, and prosecuting the same;

Within the last 12 months, we have disclosed Personal Information identified in the categories listed for our business purposes. This type of disclosure was made to the following categories of third parties: service providers, legally affiliated companies, and website and data management and analytics vendors. We do not disclose personal information of individuals we know to be under the age of 16 to business or third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration as a “sale” under California law.

By providing your mobile phone number to Spec on the Job, you consent to receive SMS messages from us related to:

- Application status updates

We do not sell your phone number or SMS-related data. Your information is only shared with service providers that assist us in managing communications and delivering our services, under strict confidentiality agreements. These service providers include, but are not limited to; Hubspot; Google Analytis; and Microsoft Clarity. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your mobile number and message history are securely stored and retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose outlined above or as required by law.

By providing your phone number and opting into our SMS notifications, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number provided. You consent to receive recurring automated text messages (SMS, MMS) from us regarding job opportunities, application status updates, interview reminders, and important service notifications or alerts. Consent is not required to make any purchase from us. Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with our services. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan.
